One of the unique aspects of Provenir’s approach is our mobile on-farm processing. 99.999% of all other meat processing always involves transporting cattle often long distances to abattoirs. This transport has been scientifically proven to cause stress. Previously thought of as a “necessary evil” – Provenir has proven that it can be eliminated altogether. The stress associated with live transport can lead to a decline in meat quality by the excessive conversion of glycogen into lactic acid. By processing the cattle on the farm, we eliminate the need for stressful transport, ensuring that the animals remain calm and relaxed right up to the point of processing. Traceability and Transparency
There are many that claim, “paddock to plate”, “farm to fork” with wonderful photos of farmers in lush green paddocks on their websites. Every cut of beef from Provenir comes with a unique QR code that allows customers to trace the journey of their meat from paddock to plate.
