At Provenir, we controll every step of our beef production process. We purchase the livestock on-farm, process the livestock on-farm, prepare all retail and wholesale beef cuts in our butchery, then onto our retail and wholesale customers.
Our wholesale grass-fed beef comes from our carefully selected farmers who share our passion for producing top-quality meat and repairing the land through regenative farming. All Provenir farms use low-stress handling techniques and raise their livestock naturally on open pastures. The animals are fed and finished on natural grasses, pasture, hay or silage.
Our farmers do not add hormones, herd antibiotics or intensive feedlots. The animals have a healthy diet so your end consumers can, too. Provenir wholesale beef is 100% Australian, high welfare, free-range, grass-fed and grass-finished – precisely the kind of meat more and more consumers are demanding.
As Australia’s only commercially licensed mobile abattoir, Provenir processes the beef on-farm. Instead of putting cattle through the stress of live transport, sale yards and fixed-location abattoirs, we go to them. This helps the animals stay calmer, improves their overall welfare and leads to meat of much better quality, tenderness and taste.
Once the livestock has been processed on-farm, it goes to our artisan butchery. Our skilled butchers value the whole beast, minimising waste and maximising yield.
While our butchers pay respect to the time-honoured traditions of their trade, they also make use of modern technology to retain the high quality of the meat.
