Regenerative agriculture

As we face longer and more frequent periods of drought in Australia, and around the world, regenerative agriculture is gaining traction amongst farmers and conscience consumers. 

Regenerative agriculture works to care for one of the earth’s most important natural resources – soil.   

Soil consists of mineral particles, organic materials and living microorganisms. Regenerative agriculture focuses on building this organic matter.  Basically, it lets nature do the work.

The 5 principles of regenerative agriculture are:

1. No-till
2. Protect soil
3. Living roots
4. Biodiversity
5. Integrate livestock
