Our Story
Inspired by a desire to improve animal welfare and produce the best quality meat, in June 2019 the founders of Provenir launched Australia’s first, and only, mobile on-farm abattoir – just two months later Provenir’s on-farm process beef was awarded a Gold Medal and named Best in Class Beef at the Australian Food Awards.
Provenir is a vertically integrated meat processing company developed to disrupt the status quo of the commodity-based red meat industry and bring meat processing into a new era – with animal welfare, quality and food provenance central to our mission.
We partner with regenerative cattle farmers to process their grass-fed cattle at the point of production, eliminating the stress to animals associated with live animal transport.
Provenir provides true provenance and full traceability of our beef product from the farm, to our butchery and on to our customers – who include top restaurateurs, independent retail outlets and directly online to conscientious consumers.
Striding toward a new growth phase we are on the lookout for an Admin Professional to join our team and take on the role of facilitating order fulfilment – aka getting our award-winning, high welfare beef delivered into the hands of our awesome customers!
