Description
Our tallow is made from 100% grass-fed grass-finished suet fat. Suet fat is sourced from the kidney region and provides the purest form of beef fat. In our commercial kitchen we gently heat the fat to a liquid stage not exceeding 85C (min temp 75C) and dispense. Our gentle process ensures that our tallow retains all the goodness that exists in grass-finished tallow.

I absolutely love “The Good Fat”! I love that it is grass fed/finished so there is no sneaky hormones and other un-naturals floating around in the fat somewhere. Tastes sensational on roasts and frying steaks etc. It definitely takes you back to the good old days when the Sunday roasts were so delicious, tallow gives anything I cook in it a special mouthwatering aroma and taste. I hope one day that it will be packed in glass rather than plastic though then I would give it a definite 5 stars.

Using this tallow to fry our chips in to accompany our grass fed meats from Provenir – the BEST! Next time I’ll be getting the bulk size 🙂

Best tallow i’ve had! this stuff is very yummy! the aroma is completely different to the other brand of tallow i’ve had and smells like cream! also tastes like a yummy cream too.
